Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health flu-related visitor restrictions have been lifted. However, because babies, especially those who are ill or premature, are at higher risk of serious complications if they get the flu, visitation restrictions are still in place for all Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) until further notice.

Our family library is supported by donations from individuals, schools, organizations and businesses. Resources available at the Edward A. Block Family Library help children stay current with their schoolwork while they are in the hospital. Your donations of books, board games, Wii games, music and movies also provide entertainment and a positive diversion. The library offers a section of books to help patients and families cope with the emotional aspects of an illness. Review our donation guide by visiting the Edward A. Block Family Library.
We honor the courage of our patients in a unique collection of anonymous prayers written by patients, families and caregivers at Riley at IU Health. Voices of Riley draws its content from the prayer book in our interfaith chapel, where patients share their inspiration.
Voices of Riley retails for $10, and 100 percent of sales go to Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy Services at Riley IU Health. Since our doors opened in 1924, the hospital’s chapel has served as a sacred space where patients, families, friends and staff of all faiths can pray, meditate or quietly reflect. Hospital chaplains are also available to patients and family members any hour of the day for emotional and spiritual care. Profits from the book allow us to fund special events, memorial services and support groups.
