Advanced Breastfeeding and Lactation Education Class
Join us for an Advanced Breastfeeding and Lactation Education Class, which will focus on education for families with high-risk maternal or fetal diagnoses. These may include maternal diabetes, twin or triplet pregnancies, planned preterm birth or prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies.
The class will be taught by breastfeeding physician experts Erin Cleary, MD, Lindsay Moore, MD and Amanda Dornfeld, MD.
Participation in a Breastfeeding 101 class is required before attending this advanced class, as basic information will not be reviewed in detail.
People with high-risk pregnancies are welcome to join this class with a support person during pregnancy or during the first few months postpartum. There is an option to join in person or virtually via Zoom.
This class is supported by the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology through Dr. Cleary’s grant “LIFE RAFT: Lactation and Infant Feeding, Riley Antepartum and Fourth Trimester.”
