Education and Training
Education and Training
Onsite Simulation Training
Our experienced facilitators design evidence-based programs to improve the outcomes of mothers and infants through onsite, interprofessional simulation-based education.
Through simulation, our facilitators can identify opportunities for the outreach site to further their education and/or make system changes to positively impact patient safety and improve the environment for patients and healthcare teams.
Since our outreach program's inception in 2010, over 6,000 learners statewide have been impacted. Our team is comprised of 8 specialty physicians and 6 nursing experts with experience in high-risk obstetrical or neonatal care.
Our simulation education experiences include 18 high-risk, low-volume maternal and neonatal scenarios.
Additional scenarios can be developed upon request.
