Riley Children’s Health has expanded its emergency medicine services to the Fishers community, bringing access to trusted and highly skilled pediatric care closer to home. Located at IU Health Fishers, Riley Children’s emergency care is available 24/7 and includes:
- Pediatric emergency unit built just for kids next to the existing emergency department
- Dedicated children’s entrance, waiting room and patient rooms
- Pediatric nurses and providers, including a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician onsite from 2:30 - 11:30 pm and pediatric hospitalist 24/7.
- Support by a team of general emergency medicine physicians during off-peak hours, social workers, respiratory therapists, radiologists and more.
- Child Life Specialists to help ease stress and anxiety of both kids and families in the emergency setting
- Coordinated access to nationally ranked specialized care if your child needs to follow up with a pediatric specialist
- Seamless transfers to other Riley Children’s hospital locations, including Indiana’s longest-standing Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, if a higher level of care is needed
Parking
Entrance & Parking
When bringing a child to the emergency department at IU Health Fishers, use the “Children’s Emergency” entrance located at hospital entrance C. This is the first entrance when driving up to the emergency department for drop off and is located to the right of the adult emergency entrance.
Free surface parking is available in the parking lot in front of the emergency department.
