Valerie L. Villanueva, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. After a decade of service in the U.S. Air Force, she brings a team‑first, calm approach to care and a strong focus on prevention and wellness. Valerie partners with patients to build healthy habits, stay current on screenings and vaccines and manage chronic conditions such as high cholesterol and diabetes. She also evaluates same‑day concerns and performs select minor procedures when appropriate. Grounded in evidence‑based practice and clear communication, Valerie works closely with the care team to coordinate the right care at the right time for every patient. Originally from Miami, she’s new to practicing in Indiana and is excited to begin her practice as a new Hoosier with IU Health.
