Shawn S. Brar, DO

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Shawn Brar offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Born and raised in Indiana, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of the community he calls home. Dr. Brar is excited to join IU Health Primary Care and continue serving Hoosier families.

His clinical interests include dermatologic procedures, women’s health, joint and trigger point injections and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and other long-term illnesses. Dr. Brar emphasizes clear communication, preventive care and collaborative decision making.

In his free time, Dr. Brar enjoys watching the Pacers or the Colts, lifting, running and spending time with friends and/or community members.
