Robert W. Byrn, MD

Dr. Byrn has been practicing with IU Health since 2006. He chose his specialty because he finds unmatched joy in helping patient families and their little ones like his father did before retiring. His practice philosophy is to share information in a way that helps achieve parents’ goals for their children’s health. He is interested in environmental health within the community and building relationships between physicians and organizations for the betterment of children’s’ health. Aside from medicine, Dr. Byrn enjoys water-related activities, hunting, and camping and hiking with his wife and three sons. Dr. Byrn received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
