About Me
Dr. Riowena Seah is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. Dr. Seah is originally from Singapore but chose to pursue a career in primary care after completing medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She continued to complete her family medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Altoona.
Dr. Seah is passionate about medical education and has a strong interest in helping both medical students and residents. When not working as a primary care physician, she serves as an adjunct clinical assistant professor of family medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine Bloomington.
What Dr. Seah treats
Dr. Seah’s focus is on preventative care and providing care for ages five years and older. She also manages chronic health conditions including:
- Endocrinologic conditions such as diabetes and thyroid disorders
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Hyperlipidemia (elevated lipid levels) and cardiovascular disease
- Chronic lung conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma
- Behavioral health needs (anxiety, depression, ADHD)
Outside of Work
When not caring for patients, Dr. Seah enjoys traveling, baking, reading, Pilates and spending time with her family and beloved orange cat.
