Margaret M. Dyer, NP is a nurse practitioner with IU Health and a certified asthma educator. She has been in practice since 2012. Dyer grew up in a big family where she was always around many kids. This early connection to spending time with children and her family helped her know from a young age that she either wanted to go into medicine or teaching. She became a nurse practitioner because it has allowed her to do both, practice medicine and teach.

Dyer’s favorite part of her job is building relationships with patients and their families over time. She loves watching patients grow from infants into young adults and seeing how parents grow right along with them.

When she’s not seeing patients, Dyer enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Together they enjoy camping, backpacking, hiking and anything that gets them outside.
