Julie Vyhanek, PA-C

Julie Vyhanek, PA-C, is a physician assistant in primary care. She has been in practice since 2024. Julie chose medicine because she has always been interested in science and learning about how the human body works. She worked as a nursing assistant in long-term care and in hospitals before becoming a PA.

Julie completed her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology at the University of Iowa. She graduated from PA school at Indiana University, where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

Julie has been involved in pediatric autism research during her time at the University of Iowa. She spent time working with patients and families to gather information about the genetic link causing Autism in certain patients.

Outside of work, Julie likes to spend time with her family, friends and cocker spaniel, Stella. She also loves going for nature walks and trying new restaurants.
