Joshua T. Richey, MD, is a pediatrician with Riley Children’s Health. He has been practicing pediatrics since 2002. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Indiana University - Kokomo. He attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric Residency at University of Mississippi.

Dr. Richey’s path to pediatrics was shaped early in life through his close relationships with younger cousins and his experience babysitting and working in daycares throughout college. He’s always had a natural connection with children, which made pediatrics a clear and rewarding choice.

During a first visit, families can expect a thorough review of their child’s medical history and a thoughtful discussion about developmental milestones and what to anticipate in the coming year. Dr. Richey is passionate about providing anticipatory guidance, helping parents feel informed and supported at every stage of their child’s growth.

His favorite part of being a pediatrician is building long-term relationships and watching his patients grow and evolve over time. He finds joy in seeing their personalities take shape and being a trusted part of their journey.

Outside of the office, Dr. Richey enjoys baseball, listening to rock music, traveling and hiking through national parks with his wife.
