Elissa P. Guevara, PA-C

Elissa Guevara, MPAS, PA-C, is a Hoosier native and board-certified physician assistant specializing in pediatric plastic and burn surgery at Riley Hospital for Children. Elissa earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University.

She provides comprehensive, family-centered care ranging from acute burn management, postoperative follow-up, hand injuries and long-term scar management, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support each unique child's recovery. She is a member of the American Burn Association and is advanced burn life support (ABLS) certified. In addition to her clinical role, Elissa is actively involved in quality improvement, education, and advocacy within pediatric surgical care. She serves as Adjunct Faculty for Physician Assistant Studies Program at Indiana University, Indianapolis, and as a Program Coordinator for the Phoenix Burn Society SOAR Program. She is passionate about supporting patients and families throughout their healing journey.
