Destiny D. Etheridge, MD

Dr. Destiny Etheridge is excited to take care of patients with IU Health Primary Care after practicing family medicine in Louisville’s West End. Dr. Etheridge’s professional endeavors are centered around advocacy and education concerning health equity and preventive medicine. She has a son who is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Inspired by this, her life’s purpose has shifted to engaging the community in conversation and action concerning barriers to accessible and quality healthcare. She is passionate about chronic disease management, LGBTQIA+ healthcare, substance use disorders, treating underserved communities and addressing health disparities at the primary care level. Dr. Etheridge practices patient-centered care with adolescents and adults.

Personally, she is a mother of two boys and enjoys reading, cycling and running.
