Dr. Newby was born and raised in Bloomington. She attended Indiana University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and was very active in the college community. She then went on to the Indiana University School of Medicine where she discovered her love for the field of Pediatrics. She completed her pediatric residency at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. Dr. Newby stayed on as Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Riley, Methodist, and Wishard Hospital after completing her residency. She loves being back in Bloomington with her husband and two children.
