Dr. Mazdzer was born and raised in Upstate New York and graduated from Williams College in Massachusetts. She completed medical school and residency at the University of Vermont, and then joined a private pediatric clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she worked for several years. She moved to Bloomington in 2003 when her husband accepted a faculty position at the IU School of Education. Dr. Mazdzer is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has three daughters, Hannah, Kira and Zoe. She enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in her church, and playing sports, especially soccer and basketball.
