Draven was born with a cleft lip and underwent surgery at Riley Hospital for Children when he was three months old. His mom, Ashley, says she had to put a lot of trust in their doctor in order to feel comfortable sending her baby into the operating room. She adds that Dr. Katelyn Makar's compassion allowed her to feel ok with the process.
Just a few months later, Draven is healing well and bringing joy to his mom's life every day.
"We are blessed because we get to fall in love with two smiles," Ashley said, referring to Draven's smiles before and after surgery.
