Riley NICU nurse is focused on supporting both parents and babies

Emma Ruskoski is a nurse in the Riley Children's Health NICU at IU Health North Hospital. She says she values being able to support parents through the NICU journey. Emma also said she feels in awe of the NICU babies who show so much resilience despite the health challenges they face. She hopes to provide some comfort to the parents who find themselves unexpectedly in the NICU.

"They develop a trust with each of us, knowing that their baby is safe even if they can't be here all the time," Emma said about the NICU parents she's gotten to know.
