Skeletal malformations and congenital conditions affect the development of a child’s bones, joints and cartilage. Some conditions are clubfoot, hip dysplasia and differences in leg length.
Our spine program cares for children with a wide range of spine conditions including all types of scoliosis. We provide both non-surgical and surgical treatment options based on your child’s specific needs. This could include observation, casting, bracing, physical therapy or spine surgery.
Our team uses advanced technology such as O-arm and EOS imaging to prioritize patient safety and improve outcomes. We offer leading-edge treatment using growing spine constructs to reduce spine fusion and maintain spine movement. We also are one of the few regionally to offer casting for infants and young children with scoliosis.
The orthopedics and sports medicine team works with physical therapists to help children with sports injuries get back in the game. Our pediatric sports medicine specialists treat many sports injuries in children, such as cartilage, bone, joint and ankle/foot injuries.
