Guidelines

This protocol will be applied to pediatric patients who are experiencing critically low blood glucose.

Standards

1. Obtain IV access.
2. Blood glucose testing using Accu-Check.
3. Reassess blood glucose 15 mins after treatment using Accu-Check.
4. Repeat glucose if needed
