About Me
Michelle Wagner‑Escobar, MA, CCC/A, graduated from the University of Iowa in 1984 and has primarily worked with infants and children in hospital and outpatient settings. She has also worked at the Indiana State Department of Health as a consultant for newborn hearing screening and at the Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education.
In her role as an audiologist with IU Health, Michelle enjoys helping both children and adults, along with their families, access appropriate care, resources and services to support optimal hearing and communication outcomes. She specializes in evaluating infants and children with complex medical and hearing needs, including auditory brainstem response (ABR) and auditory steady state response (ASSR) testing.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies, including any outdoor activities in the warm sunshine.
