About Me
Dr. Khalid is Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Program Director of Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program at IU School of Medicine. She graduated from The Aga Khan University in Pakistan. She completed her pediatrics residency at Dartmouth Medical School and pediatric nephrology fellowship at Harvard Medical School. She holds membership in the International Pediatric Nephrology Association and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology.
She is the associate Fellowship Director for Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program and is involved in medical student, resident and fellow education. She is actively involved in research in glomerular diseases of the kidney and hemolytic uremic syndrome. She has been part of the IUSM Curriculum Reform Committee, Residency Clinical Competency Evaluation Committee, Residency Selection Committee and currently serves as the rotation director for 3rd/4th year medical students at IUSM and the Pediatric Residency Program.
