Liza M. Burns-Orrego, MD

Dr. Liza Burns-Orrego is a board-certified physician, specializing in pediatrics.

She cares for newborn patients to those 18 years of age for both well child visits and sick visits.

Education

Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Burns-Orrego attended Indiana University Bloomington for her bachelor’s degree. She went to medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at Riley Hospital for Children.

During her education she completed research in policy application of urine drug screening in newborns.

Outside of Work

When not caring for patients, she spends most of her time with her husband and son. She also enjoys cycling and reading.
