About Me
Kristyne joined IU Health in 2000. She received her B.S. in Biology from Purdue University and her M.S. in Genetic Counseling from the University of Cincinnati.
Kristyne is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and is licensed as a genetic counselor by the State of Indiana. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and is a member and past President of the Indiana Network of Genetic Counselors.
Kristyne has extensive experience as a genetic counselor and clinical supervisor. She developed and was the instructor for the Prenatal Genetic Counseling course for the IU genetic counseling graduate program. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medical and Molecular Genetics. Kristyne is currently the Director of Clinical Genetic Counseling at IU Health.
