About Me
Dr. Anuja Bandyopadhyay has been practicing medicine since 2010. She is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist and sleep physician with a strong interest in pediatric sleep disordered breathing.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay received her medical degree from the Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, India. She completed her pediatrics residency at the Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, followed by a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and a sleep medicine fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Internal Medicine.
She has authored several publications, including on:
- sleep study driven protocols for decannulation of children with tracheostomy
- neurodevelopmental outcomes of sleep apnea in infants
- myofunctional therapy in children with sleep disordered breathing.
She serves as an editor-in-chief in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine (REM section). She currently serves as the chair of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Sleep Medicine Committee (American Academy of Sleep Medicine), which reviews advancement in AI and facilitates its integration in clinical practice to improve patient care and clinical outcomes. She is the co-chair of the pediatric gold standard panel of Sleep Inter-scorer reliability (ISR), which forms the AASM gold standard for sleep study scoring.
