Amber M. Cassady, NP

Amber M. Cassady, NP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner at IU Health and has been in practice since 2020. Amber received an undergraduate nursing degree from Indiana University and a graduate degree from Indiana State University. She became a nurse practitioner because she loves the overall aspect of health and wellness. Amber really enjoyed her career as a bedside nurse but found herself seeking to know more and keep growing in her knowledge of health and well-being, which led her to her current career as a nurse practitioner.

As a bedside nurse, Amber learned firsthand how important the skill of listening is. Now, as a provider, she takes that into consideration and puts it into practice with her patients and their families. Amber also takes a holistic approach to health. She uses her practice to bridge the gap between modern medicine and more holistic approaches to get to the root cause of health challenges.

When she is not caring for patients, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, her three boys and their giant dog. They love being outdoors and traveling as much as they can.
