Riley Hospital for Children Flu-related Visitor Restrictions in Place for NICU

Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health flu-related visitor restrictions have been lifted. However, because babies, especially those who are ill or premature, are at higher risk of serious complications if they get the flu, visitation restrictions are still in place for all Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) until further notice.

Bio: Baljit Rehal started her Clinical Audiology career at Riley Hospital in 2006 after graduating with her Doctoral in Audiology from University of Iowa and completing her clinical externship at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE. Pediatric Audiology is her personal interest and passion and she pursued this full time from 2006-2013. After a brief sabbatical to support her growing family, she returned to IU Health as a supplemental (part time) audiologist in 2016 and continues to serve on the clinical Audiology team. Born in India, and now settled in Indiana, Baljit enjoys spending time traveling all over the world with her husband and son. In addition, she spends time proudly volunteering for local immigrant and refugee helper communities.
