Riley Hospital for Children Flu-related Visitor Restrictions in Place for NICU

Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health flu-related visitor restrictions have been lifted. However, because babies, especially those who are ill or premature, are at higher risk of serious complications if they get the flu, visitation restrictions are still in place for all Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) until further notice.

Bio: Angela Dixon, MA, CCC-SLP, began working at Riley at IU Health in 2003 and her specific clinical expertise lies in the areas of cleft palate/craniofacial disorders and pediatric swallowing disorders. She's an active member of the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association Special Interest Group 5: Craniofacial and Velopharyngeal Disorders. Additionally, she collaborates on a multi-site research study examining speech outcomes in children with cleft palate. Though originally (and always) an Iowa Hawkeye, Angela has come to love calling Indianapolis home. She enjoys exploring the city with friends, playing tennis, running/biking the Monon trail and spending time with family.
