Riley Hospital for Children Flu-related Visitor Restrictions in Place for NICU

Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health flu-related visitor restrictions have been lifted. However, because babies, especially those who are ill or premature, are at higher risk of serious complications if they get the flu, visitation restrictions are still in place for all Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) until further notice.

Bio: A clinical audiologist and the diagnostic audiology team leader since 2007, Amanda Weinzierl joined Riley at IU Health in 2005. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Purdue University and her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from Ball State University. Amanda is certified audiologist from American Speech/Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a member of the ASHA and Indiana Speech/Language-Hearing Association. Married and a mother of three, Amanda enjoys spending her free time with her family, camping, volunteering at her children's school and scrapbooking.
