About Me
Dr. Philip D. Rosen specializes in Pediatric Otolaryngology. He joined Indiana University’s Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2021. He currently sees patients at Riley Hospital for Children and IU Health North Hospital.
Dr. Rosen graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2015. He completed internship and residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in 2020. He remained in Birmingham to complete his pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Children’s of Alabama Hospital in 2021.
While Dr. Rosen treats most pediatric ENT problems, he has particular interest in hearing loss and chronic ear issues. He assists in running the Deaf and Hard of Hearing clinic at Riley Children’s Hospital. Dr. Rosen advocates for hearing rehabilitation for the patients and families who desire it. He also cares for children with airway problems, sinus disease, head and neck masses, sleep apnea, vascular anomalies and thyroid disease.
Outside of work, Dr. “Phil” enjoys music, baking bread, biking, and, when he can squeeze it in, a good fantasy or sci-fi novel. He and his wife frequently explore Indianapolis on bike with their two dogs in tow.
