About Me

Jeffrey S. Raskin MS MD FAAP FAANS is a tenure-track assistant professor and board certified pediatric neurosurgeon. He completed residency in the department of neurological surgery at Oregon Health & Science University and fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at Texas Children’s Hospital. He maintains specific interests in functional neurosurgery in children and serves as director of both the movement disorder and surgical epilepsy programs at Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Raskin is a member of AANS, CNS, AAP, ASPN, and NANS and associate editor of Operative Neurosurgery. He is the director for the Riley Hospital for Children fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Raskin’s career goals include promotion to full professor of neurological surgery with tenure, maximizing the national and international reputation of neurosurgical care at Riley Hospital for Children, and serving the profession of neurological surgery through national representation. Dr. Raskin enjoys kayaking and amateur bird watching with his wife Tia Raskin.
