Back in February, 14-year old Garrett Auch was rushed to Riley Children’s Health at IU Health North Hospital’s pediatric emergency department with a spontaneous intraparenchymal hemorrhage. The hemorrhage was causing blood to leak into Garrett’s brain. Dr. Sean Thompson, pediatric emergency physician, quickly assessed Garrett and determined that he needed to be airlifted to Riley Hospital for Children.
