Please join us to learn more about Riley Family Advisors and how you can help other families at Riley Children’s Health.
Get involved with family faculty, sharing your stories with nurses, doctors, therapists and other health care providers. Serve on a committee or advisory council to help healthcare providers understand a family’s perspective. Be a mentor to a family with a child at Riley. No one understands what families are going through better than a family who has lived the experience. Participate in a LEAN quality improvement activity. There are many different opportunities for you to improve the health care experience for Riley families.
If your time is limited, be an E-Advisor or join the Focus Group Network. Families in these groups share their ideas electronically or in person. An email is sent to the E-Advisors when feedback is needed, and you simply reply with any useful feedback that you have. Contributing to a focus group is usually a one-time in person meeting.
Each one-hour information session includes a presentation about Patient and Family Centered Care, available opportunities for Family Advisors, volunteer requirements, and a tour of Riley. Current members of the Riley Family Advisor Program will be on hand to answer questions.
Each session will be the same, so attendees will only need to choose one date.
If you are interested in attending, or have questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include the name of the attendee, date desired, and contact phone number in case of last-minute changes.
